Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women's basketball junior G/F Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.) has been named to the 2018-19 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Basketball All-Conference Second Team. The Bantams, led by Head Coach Emily Garner (3rd Season), finished the season with a 19-6 overall record and in fourth place in the league with a 6-4 conference mark.
Kabari averaged 11.2 points for the Bantams and led the squad with 7.1 rebounds per game (5th in NESCAC). Kabari was one of the conference's best defenders all year, leading the league with 2.6 steals per game while averaging 1.3 blocks per contest (7th in NESCAC). Kabari also led the team and was second in the NESCAC in assists, averaging four per game, and shot just under 47% from the floor. She also finished the year with six double-doubles, highlighted by a career-high 28 points and 11 rebounds in Trinity's quarterfinals game versus Middlebury. A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and an economics major at Trinity, she is the daughter of Monday and Kornebari Kabari.
