Lydia Caputi begins her second season as an assistant coach for Trinity women's basketball in 2019-20. She is also the team's recruiting coordinator. Caputi joined the Bantam coaching staff last summer after finishing a successful four-year career as a student-athlete at Bowdoin College. She was a captain and a three-year starter for the Polar Bears, helping lead Bowdoin to four NCAA Tournaments, two NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances, and into the 2018 NCAA Division III National Championship Finals. Off the court, Caputi was a leader for Bowdoin's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), served on its alumni relations committee, and was a member of the athletic department's game management staff. She graduated from Bowdoin in 2018 with a degree in sociology and gender, sexuality and women's studies.
