Hartford, Conn. — The Trinity College women's golf program wrapped up the 2019-20 NESCAC Qualifier, hosted by Williams College on Sunday. The Bantams shot a nearly identical card in day two, finishing sixth overall.
Williams, the weekend hosts, took home first and will host the NESCAC Championships, which will take place April 25-26. Amherst finished second, and both Middlebury and Hamilton rounded out the top four, qualifying for the Championship tournament.
Junior Lexi Butler (Old Westbury, N.Y.) took home the best team performance for the Bantams, shooting a 94 on Saturday and a 108 Sunday for a final of 202. Junior Emily Schroeder (Madison, Conn.) was the only other Bantam to shoot under 100 on the weekend, and finished the tournament with a 207. Trinity finished with a team score of 898, adding 12 strokes onto Sunday's performance after shooting a 448 on Saturday.
