This Week: The Trinity College women's ice hockey program begins its post-season run this upcoming Saturday against #2 Middlebury. The Bantams, who travel to Vermont for its third game of the season against Middlebury, locked up the eighth and final spot in the NESCAC Tournament with its sweep over Bowdoin two weeks ago. After splitting its series against Wesleyan — including an overtime win on senior day — the Bantams will look to best Middlebury for the first time this season.

Series History: The Bantams are 4-47-4 against the Panthers since the 1998-99 season.
Recent History: Earlier in the season, the Bantams lost both games in the series in Vermont; the first contest ended in with a score of 4-1, while the second was 1-0.
Notes and Numbers:
- Junior Sierra Lee (Ferguson’s Cove, Nova Scotia) leads the team in points with a 22. Overall in the season, she has had 4 goals and 18 assists, including a huge goal in Triity’s OT victory against Wesleyan.
- Freshman Ethel Wihelmsson (Stockholm, Sweden), Sophomore Ellie Fellows (Westport, Mass.), and Junior Camille von Steinbergs (Minnetonka, Minn.) also lead with the amount of goals scored; each player has seven goals.
- In net, senior Kai-Lilly Karpman (Playa Del Ray, Calif.) has had a total of 438 saves on the season and has a 0.914 save percentage. Last weekend against Wesleyan, she stopped 42 shots while allowing just three goals.
- Karpman played between the pipes during Trinity’s 1-0 loss against Middlebury; she amassed 37 saves, giving up the lone goal with less than a minute remaining in the period.
