  • Bell, Knaus Named as Bantams of the Week

    Hartford, Conn. - As spring break nears a close, this year's 26th Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the lacrosse fields. Women's lacrosse sophomore Sydney Bell (Falmouth, Maine) and men's lacrosse senior Ben Knaus (Ross, Calif.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    The Trinity women's lacrosse team enters the week with a perfect, 4-0 record after posting a pair of wins last week. The No. 9-ranked Bantams defeated Springfield easily, 16-3, before coming back to defeat New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) foe Bates, 12-8. This week, Trinity travels to the Sunshine State to take on Denison before returning home to host No. 8 Tufts Saturday at 1 p.m.

    Englewood, Fla. - First-year attacker Lilianna Khosrowshahi (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) had four goals, including the game-winner in the second half, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 14-10 victory over the Denison University Big Red in Spring Fling women's lacrosse action this afternoon.

    Lewiston, Maine - First-year attacker Liliana Khosrowshahi (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) scored all four of her game-high four goals in the second half to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams past the Bates College Bobcats, 12-8, in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's lacrosse action this afternoon on Garcelon Field.

Women's lacrosse sophomore Marcella Flibotte (Cohasset, Mass.) and men's lacrosse senior Scott Morgan (East Grand Rapids, Mich.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. - Senior attacker Brooke Swan (Wellesley, Mass.) scored a career-high four goals to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 16-3 victory over the visiting Springfield College Pride in women's lacrosse action this evening at Sheppard Field.

    The Trinity women's lacrosse team enters the second week of the regular season with a 2-0 record after defeating Skidmore in last week's season opener before picking up a 14-9 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) win over Williams on Saturday. The Bantams look to continue their streak as they face off against Springfield at home on Wednesday at 6:30 pm before traveling to Bates on Saturday.

  • Rededicated Sheppard Field Among Several Upgrades For Trinity Athletes And Fitness Enthusiasts This Fall

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College field hockey team rededicated a new Robin L. Sheppard Field on Saturday, September 29 prior to its 4-0 win over Bates College, as the old, green turf has been torn up and replaced with a navy blue Politurf Platinum surface that gives Trinity one of the premier facilities in New England for both its field hockey and women's lacrosse programs.
