Hartford, Conn - The Trinity College women’s lacrosse team, led by Head Coach Katy Dissinger (5th season), has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2019 spring season. The Bantams will play 15 regular season games, highlighted by a trip to Florida during spring break, and ten New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) games.
Coming off an eighth-straight NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals appearance, Trinity will open the 2019 campaign away at Skidmore College on March 7 at 6 p.m. A few days later, Trinity begins its New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) campaign with a home game against Williams (3/9). The Bantams then host Springfield (3/13) before a road test at Bates on March 26. The team makes a trip to the Sunshine State over spring break for a March 19 matchup versus Denison. Trinity returns home to host Tufts University on March 23 before a three-game road swing, beginning on March 27 when the team will face St. Lawrence University at RPI. The Bantams travel to Brunswick, Maine on March 30 to close out the first month of the season.
The Bantams open the month of April with a NESCAC game at in-state opponent Connecticut College on April 3 before an April 6 conference matchup at home versus Hamilton. Trinity stays home to host Wesleyan for a mid-week game on April 9 before welcoming Middlebury to town on Saturday, April 13. The team will honor the members of its senior class before the Middlebury game as part of Senior Day 2019.
The Bantams finish the regular season with three-straight road games, the first of which on April 17 at Stevens. Trinity then travels north to take on NESCAC foe Colby College on April 20 before the regular season finale, at Amherst on April 24. The NESCAC Tournament begins the following Saturday (4/27) as the Bantams look to return to the conference tournament semifinals for the tenth year in a row.
