Hartford, Conn - The Trinity College women's lacrosse team, led by Head Coach Katy Dissinger (6th season), has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2020 spring season. The Bantams will play 15 regular season games, seeing five non-league contests on the schedule and nine games in front of its home crowd on Robin Sheppard Field.
Looking to bring Trinity back into NCAA tournament competition, the Bantams start off its 2020 travelling to Williams for its first NESCAC matchup of the season. A few days later, Trinity will compete in its home-opener against Endicott College (3/4), before hosting NESCAC rival Bates that following weekend (3/7). The Bantams then travel to Middlebury on March 14 before entering spring break.
The team will start off spring break hosting West Coadt for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, before traveling to Boston on March 21 to play Tufts University. Trinity returns home the following weekend to host Stevens before traveling to York, Pennsylvania, facing York College to finish up the month of March.
The Bantams will finish the season with six NESCAC games during the month of April. They will start by hosting in-state rival Connecticut College on April 1. A few days later, the Bowdoin Polar Bears travel to Hartford to play on the Bantams' home turf on April 4. The team will continue on their NESCAC campaign, traveling to Wesleyan on April 8 and then to Hamilton on April 11. The Bantams will finish off the regular season hosting Union on April 14 and two conference opponents.Colby travels to Robin L. Shepard field on April 18, while Amherst arrives on April 22 for a late-night regular season finale.
The NESCAC Tournament begins the following Saturday (4/22) as the Bantams look to return to the conference tournament.
