  • Wrestling Stumbles at WPI Quad
    January 12, 2019
    Worcester, Mass. - The Trinity College wrestling team fell to WPI, RIT and Roger Williams on Saturday afternoon at a tri-match at the WPI Sports and Rec Center in Worcester. The Bantams fall to 1-4 in duals this season and return to action next weekend for the Headlock for Hunger NEWA Duals Championships in Providence.

    Hartford, Conn. - As we enter the second week of 2019, this year's 16th Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the ice and mat. Women's hockey junior goalie Kai-Lilly Karpman (Play Del Ray, Calif.) and wrestling senior co-captain Jack Reilly (Andover, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Springfield, Mass. – Senior co-captain Jack Reilly (Andover, Mass.) and first-year Alexander Steele (Fairfield, Conn.) each wo by fall to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 39-16 victory over the American International College Yellowjackets in wrestling action this afternoon at Butova Gymnasium.  Trinity improves to 1-1, while the NCAA Division II Yellowjackets drop to 0-4. 
  • Trinity Wrestling Finishes Fifth At Waynesburg Invitational

    Waynesburg, Pa. - Senior co-captain Jack Reilly (Andover, Mass.) went 5-1 in the 165-pound bracket to lead the Trinity College Bantams to fifth place in the team standings at the 8th Annual Waynesburg College Wrestling Invitational at Rudy Marisa Field House this afternoon.

    Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Senior co-captain Grant Sorensen (Moore, Okla.) won the 149-pound division for the Trinity College wrestling team at the Citrus Invitational over the weekend in Fort Lauderdale.

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College wrestling team dropped its 2018-19 home opener, 25-19 to fellow New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) school, Williams College on Friday night in Oosting Gymnasium.
  • Wrestling Ties For 11th at Rochester Invitational

    Rochester, N.Y. - Senior co-captain Grant Sorensen (Moore, Okla.) finished third at 157 to lead the Trinity College wrestling team to a tie for 11th-place at the RIT Invitational on Saturday. The Bantams totaled 42 team points along with New England College to finish tied for 11th while WPI won the team title with 139.5 points.

Women's basketball junior Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.) and wrestling senior co-captain Grant Sorensen (Moore, Okla.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. -  Trinity College Wrestling Head Coach Marques Gales (6th season) has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 season. In total, the Bantams hit the mat 14 times during the year, highlighted by trips to six invitationals and the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Futures Tournament, which will be hosted by the Bantams for the first time ever.
