Worcester, Mass. - The Trinity College wrestling team fell to WPI, RIT and Roger Williams on Saturday afternoon at a quad-match at the WPI Sports and Rec Center in Worcester. The Bantams fall to 1-4 in duals this season and return to action next weekend for the Headlock for Hunger NEWA Duals Championships in Providence.
The Bantams dropped their first dual to the Engineers, 40-3, picking up their points on a 3-1 decision by senior co-captain Grant Sorensen (Moore, Okla.) who defeated Tyler Marsh in the 157 pound match. Sorensen added a pin versus Roger Williams to pick up six points for Trinity, however the Hawks came away with the 31-12 victory with Trinity's other six points coming via a forfeit at heavyweight. Trinity dropped its match to RIT, 50-0.
