Trinity Wrestling Beaten By Coast Guard

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams suffered a 45-1 defeat against the visiting United States Coast Guard Academy Bears in a wrestling dual match this afternoon in Ferris Athletic Center.  Trinity falls to 3-11, while the No. 17-ranked Bears are now 5-2.  Sophomore Kevin Lyskawa (Londonderry, N.H.), ranked No. 2 in New England at 157 pounds, earned three points for Trinity but the Bantams lost two points on unsportsmanlike conduct.  Bantam sophomore heavyweight John O'Brien (Reading, Mass.) gave Coast Guard's Patrick Irwin, ranked No. 1 in New England and No. 3 in the nation, all he could handle in a 3-0 setback to close out the match.
