Trinity Women's Soccer Beaten On Late Goal At Hamilton

Clinton, N.Y. - Despite 18 saves by sophomore Taylor O'Connor (Danvers, Mass.) in goal, the visiting Trinity College Bantams suffered a 1-0 loss against the Hamilton College Continentals in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's soccer action this afternoon.  Trinity falls to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the NESCAC, while the Continentals improve to 2-1-1 overall and 2-1 in the league.  Cat Gambino scored the game-winning marker on a rebound with just 19 seconds left in regulation.  The Bantams managed three shots in the game, including the second of two by rookie Brenna Hoar (Ludlow, Mass.) that was saved by Continental goalie Rachel Pike in the 86th minute.  Pike finished with three stops.  Trinity hosts Worcester Polytechnic Institute in its home opener tomorrow at noon.  Hamilton entertains NESCAC rival Connecticut College next Saturday at 11 a.m.
