Trinity Women's Squash Escapes Upset At Dartmouth With Late Wins

Hanover, N.H. - Trailing, 2-1, after the first wave, the visiting Trinity College Bantams rallied for a 6-3 victory against the Dartmouth College Big Green in women's squash action this afternoon.  Trinity, ranked No. 3 in the nation, improves to 8-0, surrendering its first points of the season after seven 9-0 triumphs.  The No. 8-ranked Big Green drop to 3-4 with their third consecutive setback. 

Bantam junior Jennifer Pelletier (Richmond Hill, Ontario) recorded the lone Bantam point of the opening three, downing Kensy Balch in a lengthy battle, 17-15, 9-11, 11-5, 11-8.  Trinity took five of the next six points including 3-0 victories by first-year No. 1 Kanzy El Defrawy (Cairo, Egypt), junior tri-captain No. 2 Catalina Pelaez (Bogota, Colombia) and sophomores Natalie Babjukova (Prague, Czech Republic) and Chanel Erasmus (Capetown, South Africa) at No. 4 and No. 7, respectively.
