New Haven, Conn. - The No. 6 ranked Trinity College women's squash team defeated the No. 4 Yale Bulldogs, 8-1, on Wednesday night at the Brady Squash Center in New Haven. The victory improves the Bantams to 7-1 overall while Yale falls for the first time all season, dropping to 6-1.

Gutsy 3-2 wins by junior Alex Echeverria (San Salvador, El Salvador) in the No. 8 slot, and senior Sachika Balvani (Mumbai, India) in the No. 7 slot propelled the Bantams to the victory. Senior captain Kanzy El Defrawy (Cairo, Egypt), sophomore Raneem Sharaf (Giza, Egypt), junior Anna Kimberley (Colchester, England), and freshman Jennifer Haley (Caldicot, Wales) all dominated in 3-0 victories.
