No. 3 Trinity Women's Squash Blanks Drexel to Cap Off Weekend Road Trip

Philadelphia, Pa. - The No. 3-ranked Trinity College women's squash team cruised to a 9-0 victory over the No. 9-ranked Drexel Dragons on Sunday afternoon at the Kline and Specter Squash Center in Philadelphia. The Bantams, who defeated George Washington yesterday, 8-1, improve to 2-0 to start the season and return home to Hartford where they open up at home on Wednesday, November 29, against New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) opponent Wesleyan University.

Six Bantams earned cleen sweeps of their opponents while the Dragons forfeited matches at No. 8 and No. 9. Senior tri-captain Karolina Holinkova (Krnov, Czech Republic) allowed just nine points to her opponent at the No. 7 spot in the lineup while first-year Akanksha Salunkhe (Vasco da Gama, India) yielded just seven points from her counterpart in a dominant effort at No. 5.
