Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College Bantams made quick work of the visiting Middlebury College Panthers in an 8-1 women’s squash win this afternoon at Kellner Center.  Trinity, ranked No. 2 in the nation, improves to 7-1 heading into a pivotal match-up against No. 5-ranked Pennsylvania on Saturday at noon.  The Bantams win their 13th home match in a row.  Middlebury drops to 5-3 with its first loss in five matches.  Trinity senior tri-captain Karolina Holinkova (Krnov, Czech), sophomore Salma Alam El Din (Cairo, Egypt), and first-year Akanksha Salunkhe (Vasco de Gama, India) each allowed just 10 points by her opponent in 3-0 individual wins.  Natasha Lowitt (New York, N.Y.) won for Middlebury at the bottom of the ladder.
