Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's squash program has announced the hiring of former player Karolina Holinkova '18 as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2018-19 season. The Bantams, led by Head Coach Wendy Bartlett (35th season) are coming off a trip to the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championship for the first time since 2014-15 and finished as the second-best team in the country with a 15-3 overall record.
Holinkova was a tri-captain for the Bantams last year and was part of teams that compiled an impressive 61-13 record during her tenure. In her four seasons she was a member of four NESCAC Championship teams and to teams that appeared in the Howe Cup Finals. She went 14-7 last winter to finish her career with a 57-23 overall mark, tied for the second most career wins on the team. She also was a recipient of the Alice A. Chick award, the Elizabeth A. Chick award and the Coaches award.
