Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women’s squash Head Coach Wendy Barlett (35th Season) has officially announced the upcoming 2019-20 season schedule, which showcases the Bantams on five separate occasions at home.
Coming off a 17-3 campaign where the team won its 13th Consecutive NESCAC Championship and reached the CSA National Singles Championships, the Bantams are returning several impactful players including 2018-19 College Squash Association (CSA) All-American First Team members Sophomore Sarahi Lopez (Zapopan, Mexico) and Junior Min Jie Teh (Klang, Malaysia).
Trinity will open the season away at Mount Holyoke on November 23rd before returning home the day after (11/24) to play their home opener against Virginia. The Bantams will finish the calendar year with 2 home games, playing Dartmouth on December 5th and Colby on December 7th.
The squad will return to play in the month of January, starting off the new year playing five matches away from home. They will start at George Washington (1/7) before traveling to Drexel (1/9) before having a week off. After the break, they will play three matches in six days starting with Columbia (1/16) and Penn (1/18) before wrapping up against Yale (1/22).
The Bantams return home to play Cornell (1/26) before closing out the month of January with a highly touted match-up against Stanford (1/28). February will see its final home game of the season against Harvard (2/5) before opening up NESCAC Championship play from February 7th to the 9th.
Trinity closes out their regular season playing Princeton (2/15) away in preparation for the CSA National Team Championships (2/21-2/23) and the CSA National Singles Championships (3/6-3-8).
