Middletown, Conn.— The Trinity College Women’s Bantams secured their 14th-straight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Squash Championship title with an 8-1 win over the Williams College Ephs on Sunday afternoon at the Rosenbaum Squash Center at Wesleyan University. Seven players for Trinity won by a 3-0 score, with the team dominating in the top eight positions on the ladder. Senior Vanessa Raj (Penang, Malaysia), in the second spot, allowed her opponent only nine points in total while rookie Habiba Dawood (Cairo, Egypt) conceded 14 points. After today’s victory, the Bantams have an opportunity to move up from No. 3 to No. 2 in the College Squash Association (CSA) National Poll with their final dual match of the season at No. 2-ranked Princeton on Saturday at 1 p.m.
