Trinity Women's Divers Shine At RPI Invitational

Troy, N.Y. - Trinity College sophomore Lia Urban-Spillane (Rochester, N.Y.) finished second in both the one- and three-meter dives, as the Bantam divers competed in the RPI Diving Invitational at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute this afternoon.  Urban-Spillane broke Trinity's records for 11 dives off both boards with a score of 422.00 in the one-meter event and 446.15 in the three-meter event.  Trinity first-year Grace Chouinard (Natick, Mass.) added a fourth-place score of 363.45 off the three-meter dive, while sophomore Jazmin Johnson (Kennewick, Wash.) posted a fifth-place score of 354.30 off the one-meter board.  Urban-Spillane's performance qualifies her for the NCAA Division III Regional Meet at MIT in March.
