Trinity Women's Tennis Loses To Tufts In Season's First Dual Match

Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams opened the 2018-19 dual-match season with an 8-1 loss to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Tufts University Jumbos in women's tennis action this afternoon inside the Trinity Field House.  Trinity junior Julia Brogan (Falmouth, Maine) moved up a spot in the lineup to No. 2 singles and came back from a 6-4 deficit in her first set against Patricia Obeid, before taking the second by the same score and winning with a 10-6 triumph on the tiebreaker.  No. 6-ranked Tufts won the the other five singles matches in straight sets after taking a 3-0 lead following doubles play,
