Lewiston, Maine - The Trinity College women's tennis team opened the 2018-19 season at the Wallach Doubles Invitational on Saturday, hosted by Bates College in Lewiston. Sophomore Lilly Everett (Atlanta, Ga.) and senior Jane Weber (Winchester, Mass.) teamed up for a quarterfinals victory in the "B" draw while junior Krista Jiranek (Owings Mill, Md.) and sophomore Morgan Wilkins (Halesite, N.Y.) won an 8-3 match in the quarterfinals of the "C" draw. Wilkins and Jiranek dropped a hard-fought semifinals match, 8-6, but bounced back to win the third place match by a score of 8-2.Full Story
