Wilborne Wins Triple Jump For Trinity Women's Indoor Track And Field At Cupid Challenge

Medford, Mass. - Senior captain Jenna Wilborne (New Haven, Conn.) won the triple jump with a distance of 37'05.00" to lead the Trinity College Bantams to sixth place in the team standings in the Tufts University Cupid Challenge Women's Indoor Track and Field Invitational this afternoon at Gantcher Center.  Trinity totaled 34 points, while MIT won the meet with 190 points.

Wilborne won the triple jump by14 inches, while fellow senior captain Mary Daly (Madison, Wisc.) was third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.85, and teamed with sophomore Sophie Long (Darien, Conn.) and first-years Hannah Ells (Amesbury, Mass.) and Morgan Sullivan (Hingham, Mass.) for a third-place time of 10:10.18 in the 4x800-meter relay.
