Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women's track and field junior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.), sophomores Katie Marlow-Benedick (Weston, Mass.) and Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.), and first-year Samantha March (Glastonbury, Conn.) were each named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) New England All-Region Team thanks to their outstanding performances across the spring season. The top-five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, as Hallow graced the squad in the 400-meter dash, Marlow-Benedick did so in both the 100- and 200-meter dash, Kabari made it in the shot put, and March in the triple jump to gibe Trinity five selections in total. In addition, Bantam, Associate Head Coach John Michael Mason was nominated for USTFCCCA New England Region Assistant Coach of the Year. The Bantams, coached by George Suitor (26th season), finished the season ranked sixth in New England, third highest among New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) teams, and finished seventh in the NESCAC Championship Meet, fifth in the New England Division III Championships, and tied for 20th in the New England Open Championships this spring.
