  • Trinity Women's Outdoor Track And Field Boasts Six Top-Three Finishes At Silfen Invitational

    New London, Conn. - Junior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) won the 200- and 400-meter races and junior Devan Walsh (Danvers, Mass.) won the javelin throw to lead the Trinity College Bantams to fifth place in the Silfen Women's Outdoor Track and Field Invitational at Connecticut College this evening.

    Hartford, Conn. - With the spring sports regular seasons entering the home stretch, this year's 29th Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on track and field and the lacrosse field. Women's track and field junior Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.) and men's lacrosse junior Ben Ferrucci (Essex, Conn.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    New London, Conn. - The Trinity College women’s track and field squad totaled 147 points, just two behind first place Connecticut College, to finish second at the Coast Guard Invitational on Saturday in New London. The Bantams saw a handful of impressive performances in a successful day of competition. Trinity returns to action next Saturday for the Trinity Invitational at Jessee/Miller Field.
  • Women’s Track and Field Shines at Tufts Snowflake Classic With Third Place Finish

    Medford, Mass. - The Trinity College women’s track and field squad returned to action on Saturday at the Tufts Snowflake Classic, posting a third-place finish out 20 of colleges across all divisions, thanks to numerous outstanding performances. The Bantams totaled 77 points, behind second-place RPI, and one point ahead of fourth-place Boston College.

  • Hallow Wraps Up Women’s Indoor Track and Field Schedule at NCAA Championships

    Boston, Mass. - Trinity College senior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) concluded the women’s track indoor season on Friday at the NCAA Division III National Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. Hallow finished 13th among a competitive field in Friday’s prelims, crossing the finish line in 57.91. Hallow was the fourth-fastest New England runner in the event. The top-eight performers in each event move on to Saturday’s finals.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) has qualified for the 2018-19 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships in the 400-meter. The championships will be held March 8-9 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Massachusetts, with the University of Massachusetts, Boston serving as host.

    Trinity's Tomcho and Hughes Earn USTFCCCA Indoor Track and Field All-Region Honors Alex Tomcho '19 (center) Alex Tomcho '19 (center) Mar 06, 2019 Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College men's indoor track and field senior Alex Tomcho (Windsor, Conn.) and first-year Kinnard Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) were both named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) New England All-Region Team thanks to their outstanding performances across the indoor season. The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams. Trinity, led by Head Coach John Michael Mason (1st season), finished 13th in New England at the Division III Regional Championships this winter. Tomcho earned All-Region honors in the 60-meter dash, the first All-Region selection of his career. He won a pair of races this winter, highlighted by a career-best 6.98 performance in the 60 meters at a tri-meet at Wesleyan in early-December. Tomcho, the 2015-16 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Rookie of the Year as well as a 2018 All-New England Outdoor performer, also won the 400-meter dash in the same meet and finished with five top-three finishes across all races this winter. A graduate of Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, he is the son of Timothy and Lisa Tomcho. Hughes exploded onto the scene as a rookie this year, earning All-New England honors in the long jump thanks to his performance at the regional championships. Hughes finished second with a long jump distance of 6.83 meters, and racked up six first-place finishes between both the high jump and long jump. He set a personal record in the long jump at the Pioneer Invitational in mid-January, turning in a distance of 6.93 meters that was good for a first-place finish and a new Trinity record.   • Women’s Track and Field Finishes Indoor Regular Season at Tufts National Qualifying Meet

    Mass. - The Trinity College men's track and field squad competed at the Tufts National Qualifiying Meet on Sunday afternoon in Mendon. The meet marked the final chance for student-athletes to improve their national qualifying chances for the last time during the indoor season. The final national declarations will come on Sunday.
  • Hallow Wins 200 to Lead Women's Track and Field at New England Division III Indoor Regional Championships

    Brunswick, Maine - Senior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) won the 200-meter dash and finished third in the 400 to lead the Trinity College women's track and field squad at the 2018-19 NCAA Division III Indoor Regional Championships at Bowdoin College. The Bantams finished 13th out of 26 schools with 24 points, one point more than 14th-place Connecticut College and just three behind 12th-place Springfield.

  • Records Fall for Women's Track and Field at Boston University Valentine Invitational

    Boston, Mass. - Senior Anna Barnes (Storrs, Conn.) and junior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) both set new indoor records for the Trinity College track and field team on Friday at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. The Bantams had a strong day of competition at the event which featured athletes from schools across all divisions. The Bantams return to action tomorrow for the MIT Gordon Kelly Invitational.

    Hartford, Conn. - As we enter the home stretch of the winter sports regular season, this year's 20th Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the track and ice. Women's track and field sophomore Izzy Bruno (Winchester, Mass.) and men's hockey rookie Lucas Michaud (South Portland, Maine) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore Isabella Bruno (Winchester, Mass.) won the high jump and first-year Marina Flandrick (Boulder, Colo.) won the pole vault, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Wesleyan University Men's Indoor Track and Field Invitational at Bacon Field House this afternoon.

The Bantams enjoyed a handful of strong performances and return to action on Friday for the New England Open Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. 
  • Women's Track and Field Opens Year With Sixth Place Finish at Smith Invitational

    Northampton, Mass. - The Trinity College women's track and field team returned to action on Saturday with a sixth place finish at the Smith Indoor Invitational in Northampton. The Bantams finished with 43 points and saw a handful of impressive performances in the team's first meet of the 2019 calendar year. The Bantams return to action next weekend for the Massasoit Invitational at Springfield College. 
  • Women’s Indoor Track and Field Has Strong Showing at Wesleyan Tri-Meet

The Bantams conclude their 2018 portion of the schedule and return to action on January 19th at the Smith College Invitational.
