  • Trinity's Hallow And Kabari Earn All-American At NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track And Field Meet

    Geneva, Ohio - Trinity College senior sprinter Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) and junior shot putter Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.) both earned All-American honors with top-eight finishes to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a tie with St. Thomas (Minn.) for 31st place over three days in the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Mount Union University's SPIRE Institute.

    Hartford, Conn. - With graduation behind us, this year's 35th Bantams of the Week have been named, thanks to their strong performances on the track and field and on the baseball diamond. Women's track and field junior Hannah Neufeld (Burlington, Mass.) and baseball senior tri-captain Erik Mohl (Milton, Mass.) have been named as the Bantams of the Week.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College women's outdoor track and field seniors Anna Barnes (Storrs, Conn.) and Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.), juniors Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.), Katie Lazur (East Hanover, N.J.), and Devan Walsh (Danvers, Mass.), and sophomores Izzy Bruno (Winchester, Mass.) and Emma Buckley (Hanover, N.Y.) were each named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) New England All-Region Team thanks to their outstanding performances across the spring season. 
  • Trinity Spring Student-Athletes Named To NESCAC All-Academic Team

    Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College spring athletic teams placed 65 student-athletes on the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) 2019 Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league on Friday. To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.

    Williamstown, Mass. - Members of the Trinity College women's track and field team competed at the 2019 Williams College Last Chance Meet on Wednesday night, looking to improve on their season marks to meet the qualifying times for this year's national championships. Junior Hannah Neufeld (Burlington, Mass.) won the 200-meter dash with a finals time of 26.20, a personal best for the junior.

  • Women's Track and Field Boasts Several Standout Performers at NESCAC Championships

    Hartford, Conn. - The Trinity College women's track and field teams boasted a handful of scorers at the 2019 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Middlebury College. The Bantams finished with 37.50 points to claim tenth place out of 11 schools, just one full point behind ninth place Wesleyan. Williams won the team title with 165 points.

The Bantams totaled 77 points, behind second-place RPI, and one point ahead of fourth-place Boston College.

  • Hallow Wraps Up Women’s Indoor Track and Field Schedule at NCAA Championships

    Boston, Mass. - Trinity College senior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) concluded the women’s track indoor season on Friday at the NCAA Division III National Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. Hallow finished 13th among a competitive field in Friday’s prelims, crossing the finish line in 57.91. Hallow was the fourth-fastest New England runner in the event. The top-eight performers in each event move on to Saturday’s finals.

    Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) has qualified for the 2018-19 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships in the 400-meter. The championships will be held March 8-9 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Massachusetts, with the University of Massachusetts, Boston serving as host.

    Trinity's Tomcho and Hughes Earn USTFCCCA Indoor Track and Field All-Region Honors Alex Tomcho '19 (center) Alex Tomcho '19 (center) Mar 06, 2019 Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College men's indoor track and field senior Alex Tomcho (Windsor, Conn.) and first-year Kinnard Hughes (Chicago, Ill.) were both named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) New England All-Region Team thanks to their outstanding performances across the indoor season. The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top three relay teams. Trinity, led by Head Coach John Michael Mason (1st season), finished 13th in New England at the Division III Regional Championships this winter. Tomcho earned All-Region honors in the 60-meter dash, the first All-Region selection of his career. He won a pair of races this winter, highlighted by a career-best 6.98 performance in the 60 meters at a tri-meet at Wesleyan in early-December. Tomcho, the 2015-16 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Rookie of the Year as well as a 2018 All-New England Outdoor performer, also won the 400-meter dash in the same meet and finished with five top-three finishes across all races this winter. A graduate of Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, he is the son of Timothy and Lisa Tomcho. Hughes exploded onto the scene as a rookie this year, earning All-New England honors in the long jump thanks to his performance at the regional championships. Hughes finished second with a long jump distance of 6.83 meters, and racked up six first-place finishes between both the high jump and long jump. He set a personal record in the long jump at the Pioneer Invitational in mid-January, turning in a distance of 6.93 meters that was good for a first-place finish and a new Trinity record.
