Boston, Mass. - Trinity College senior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) concluded the women's track indoor season on Friday at the NCAA Division III National Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. Hallow finished 13th among a competitive field in Friday's prelims, crossing the finish line in 57.91. Hallow was the fourth-fastest New England runner in the event. The top-eight performers in each event move on to Saturday's finals.
"Morgan had a great indoor season," said Head Coach John Michael Mason (1st season). "She is relatively new to the 400 and has shown amazing progress. In today's race she ran a great opening 200 and just didn't quite have it down the back stretch. She will be back for outdoors!"
Hallow ran a 57.78 at Tufts University last weekend to qualify for the championships and was also named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) New England All-Region Team in both the 200 and 400 meters. Hallow and the rest of the Trinity squad take two weeks off before beginning the outdoor season, on March 23rd at Wesleyan.
