Middletown, Conn. - Sophomore Izzy Bruno (Winchester, Mass.) won the high jump and first-year Marina Flandrick (Boulder, Colo.) won the pole vault, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Wesleyan University Indoor Track and Field Invitational at Bacon Field House this afternoon. Bruno cleared a height of 5'05" and Flandrick cleared 10 feet in the winning perfomances. Trinity junior Katherine Bullock (Cape Neddick, Maine) also excelled in the jumps with a second-place distance of 15'2.25" in the long jump and a fifth-place distance of 33'03.00" in the triple jump. Bantam junior sprinter Hannah Neufeld (Burlington, Mass.) was fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.17, and finished .04 seconds ahead of sixth-place classmate Katie Lazur (East Hanover, N.J.) in the 200-meer dash at 27.63 for fifth place. First-year Bridget McKiernan (Providence, R.I.) rounded out the top-six performances with a sixcth-place time of 1:47.45 in the 600-meter run. Competing in the Cupid Challenge at Tufts along with a few other Bantams, Trinity junior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) broke her own Trinity record in the 400-meter dash with a winning time of 58.70.
