Hartford, Conn. - Trinity College senior Morgan Hallow (Charlotte, N.C.) is set to compete at the 2018-19 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships in the 400-meter after qualifying at last weekend's National Qualifier meet at Tufts University. The championships begin on Friday, March 8, and conclude on Saturday, March 9, at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Massachusetts, with the University of Massachusetts-Boston serving as host.
Hallow ran a 57.78 at Tufts University last Sunday to improve her national ranking and punch her ticket to the championships. Earlier this week, Hallow was named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) New England All-Region Team in both the 200 and 400 meters.
Hallow has dominated this winter, earning six first-place finishes in the 400 to go along with five top-finishes in the 200. She set the college indoor record in the 400 at Boston University's Valentine Invitational in early-February, re-breaking her own mark which she set previously. The senior earned all-region honors in the 400 at the New England Division III Championships and was crowned New England Champion in the 200 as well.
