Trinity Women's Indoor Track And Field Competes In National Qualifying Meet At Tufts

Medford, Mass. - Senior Peace Kabari (Manchester, N.H.) finished second in the shot put with a distance of 45'00.50", as the Trinity College women's indoor track and field team competed in the Tufts National Qualifying Meet at Gantcher Center this afternoon.  Kabari broke her own record in the event by 0.75 inches and likely qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships next weekend in North Carolina.  Trinity junior Emma Buckley (Hanover, Mass.) added a fourth-place time of 25.88 in the 200-meter dash, while junior Isabel Bruno (Winchester, Mass.) was sixth in the high jump at 5'02.50", and first-year Skye Embray (Los Angeles, Calif.) placed seventh in the triple jump with a distance of 35'10.75".
