Hartford, Conn. – The visiting Trinity College Bantams lost, 3-1, against the Hamilton College Continentals in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) volleyball action this afternoon at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.  Trinity falls to 4-5 overall and 0-2 in the NESCAC with its second setback in as many days, while the Continentals improve to 7-3 overall with the win in their league opener.  Trinity hosts Mitchell in its next match on Tuesday, September 24 at 7 p.m.

Trinity won the opening set, 25-22, but lost, 25-17, in the second set, 25-21, in the third, and were edged, 26-24, in the fourth set.  Trinity sophomore MH Ally Conde (Danielson, Conn.) had 11 kills, four aces, and six digs, while classmate Hareena Johnson (Los Angeles, Calif.) added a team-high 12 kills, and junior S Jessica Yang (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) collected 33 assists, three aces, and 10 digs.
