This Week: The Trinity College women’s volleyball program looks to continue its momentum from this weekend, taking on Western Connecticut, Simmons, and Southern Maine — all at home. The Bantams started the season 0-2 before winning back-to-back straight set contests against Clark and Westfield in the day two of the Trinity Invitational.

Weekly Notes: 

  • Senior Colette Scheffers (Andover, Mass.) led the team in kills during the Trinity Invitational, amassing 41 through 11 sets; she also leads the team in digs with 49.
  • Both of Trinity’s middle hitters lead the team in blocks; sophomore Ally Conde (Danielson, Conn.) has 13 (two solo) while freshman Molly Bernstein (Oakland, Calif.) has 12 (two solo).
  • Trinity’s best match of the season came against Clark, where the team hit .275 and committed only 16 attack errors through 109 attempts.
