Bethlehem, Pa. - The Trinity College women's cross country team placed five runners in the top-100, all seperated by less than 43 seconds, good for a 13th-place finish at the Paul Short Run women's college brown race on Friday afternoon at Lehigh University. The Bantams tallied 295 points, just five behind 12th-place Lynchburg and 62 more than 14th-place Swarthmore.
Trinity was led by sophomore Grace Harrison (Montclair, N.J.) who finished 40th with a time of 22:47. After her, four Bantams finished bunched together, starting with classmate Samantha Feenstra (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) who crossed the finish line at 23:07. Senior co-captains Briana Daley (Oak Park, Ill.) and Hannah Ells (Amesbury, Mass.) finished just four seconds apart, with Daley capturing 61st-place at 23:19 and Daley 66th-place at 23:23. Sophomore Nina Bourgeois (Rochester, Mass.) rounded out the top-100 with a time of 23:29 to claim 73rd.
