New Gloucester, Maine - The Trinity College Bantam registered 241 points to finish 10th in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Cross Country Championships at Pineland Farms this afternoon.  The Bantams were just eight points behind ninth-place Hamilton and well ahead of 11th-place Connecticut College.  Williams won the title with 62 points.  Trinity's top-two finishers were sophomores Grace Harrison (Montclair, N.J.) and Samantha Feenstra (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) in 34th and 42nd place, respectively.  Bantam senior co-captain Briana Daley (Oak Park, Ill.) and sophomore Anna Barnes (Storrs, Conn.) sandwiched 52nd- and 59th-place finishes around a 54th-place showing by sophomore teammate Nina Bourgeois (Rochester, Mass.) to give Trinity five runners among the top 60 in the race.  Harrison's time of 23:32.1 was 2:12 off the winning pace.  Trinity will close the 2017 season at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championship Meet in two weeks at Southern Maine.
