Trinity Women's Cross Country Finishes As UMass-Dartmouth Invitational Runner-Up

North Dartmouth, Mass. - Junior Samantha Feenstra (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) finished sixth with a time of 18:28.44 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a runner-up finish at the UMass-Dartmouth Women's Cross Country Invitational this afternoon.  Trinity totaled 105 points to edge Division II Merrimack for second, while Brandeis won the team title with 56 in a field of 45 teams.  Trinity senior Lauren Barrett (Peabody, Mass.) was 18th with a time of 19:07.49, while junior Nina Bourgeois (Rochester, Mass.) placed 20th at 19:08.99, and senior Anna Barnes (Storrs, Conn.) was 28th at 19:22.26.  Trinity takes next weekend off before competing in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh on September 29.
