Trinity Women's X-Country Finishes Second At UNE Invitational Behind Feenstra's Winning Performance

Biddeford, Maine - Senior co-captain Samantha Feenstra (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) dusted the competition, finishing over 20 seconds before the second-place runner to win the UNE Women's Cross Country Invitational title this afternoon.  Feenstra posted a time of 18:47.3 and the Bantams totaled 58 points as a squad to finish 31 behind first-place Wellesley and three ahead of the host University of New England Nor'Easters.  Trinity junior Julia Burdulis (Hopkinton, Mass.) added a fifth-place time of 19:19.3, while Rachel Scheub (Rochester, Mass.) was 11th and first-year Reagan Gillooly (Shrewsbury, Mass.) was 17th.  The Bantams head to the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth Invitational next weekend.
