Trinity Women's Cross Country Claims 21st At Connecticut College Invitational

Waterford, Conn. - Senior co-captain Samantha Feenstra (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) came in 20th place with a time of 22:08.5 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 21st in the team standings at the Connecticut College Women's Cross Country Invitational this afternoon at Harkness State Park.  Trinity totaled 504 points to finish three shy of 20th-place Christopher Newport and 135 points in front of 22nd-place Wisc.-Whitewater among the field of 28 schools.  MIT won the team title with 75 points.  Feenstra's time was 76 seconds off the first-place pace, just .03 seconds behind 19th place, and 0.02 seconds faster than the 21st-place runner.  Bantam junior Julia Burdulis (Hopkinton, Mass.) finished 100th with a time of 23:31.1, and sophomore Isabella Montes De Oca (Carpinteria, Calif.) was 118th at 23:56.9.
