Ashley Gurzler is entering her ninth season as an assistant coach for both the Bantam cross country and track and field squads in 2019-20. During the track season, she works primarily with the distance runners. Gurzler graduated with a bachelor's degree in history from Quinnipiac in 2008 and later earned her master's degree from her alma mater in secondary education. During her collegiate career, she earned all-conference honors in 2006 and 2007 as the Bobcats won conference titles in 2005, 2006 and 2007 to go along with a New England Cross Country crown in 2007. Prior to joining the Trinity staff, Gurzler coached cross country and track and field at the high school level for three years. In 2008, Gurzler earned her USATF level one certification. She competes in cross country, track and road races for the Manchester Running Company.
